HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING, AMERICA!

thanksgiving dinner

Ok dudes, I'm sorry for not posting about the Thanksgiving meal until *cough* a month later. Short story is that friends came down to New York for their break, we spent all day cooking together, and then we ate like kings.

From the top left, clockwise: turkey, green beans & onions, roasted yams, mulled wine, brioche roll, garlic mashed potatoes, traditional stuffing, figs&bacon&brusselsprouts, stick rice stuffing AND fresh cranberry sauce.

Not diagramed: pumpkin pie, apple pie, and baby green+persimmon+pomegranate+candied walnut salad.

We basically made everything from scratch. Nicole roasted the turkey (like a boss) and made the sticky rice stuffing. Nessa made the traditional stuffing and cranberry sauce. Sophia, one of our lovely guests, made the figs, bacon and brussels sprouts. I made the brioche rolls and garlic mashed potatoes. And our other lovely lady guests, Rachel and Haley, helped everyone out and were the best! Hopefully we've inspired your holiday menu, because I know I'm going to want some more of that sticky rice stuffing later.

In other news, WE'RE ALMOST DONE WITH THE SEMESTER.
